Currently considering new projects.
I am a web designer and developer, specializing in ExpressionEngine sites and add-ons, while remaining hopelessly in love with video. I live life behind the camera and work for myself in Upstate New York with my lovely wife and 1 year old son.
Born in Virginia, raised in Clifton Park, New York and graduating from Thomas College in Maine was just the beginning. In the years that followed academic pursuit of Marketing and Business School, my hobby of dabbling with the web caught up with my strategic marketing career in a fateful intersection. As it turns out, the two skills go pretty well together.
My approach to web design and development varies slightly from "the next guy" largely in part to my diverse background. I've headed up analytics for Fortune 500 clients, ran a successful interactive development division for a marketing firm, and most recently forged out on my own to build my own company. All this to say, I know what I'm doing. Oh, and I like to take pretty pictures.
Much of my work portfolio technically belongs to prior employers. As such, I would be amiss to post it all here. I am more than happy to give you a personal tour of my past few years of hard work. With a coffee, of course.
While I might be a bit of a “jack-of-all-trades”, some projects are bigger than one person can bite off. For that, I have a fantastic network of close colleagues & partners that can be infinitely extended. No job too big.
I've done web work for piles of companies and organizations, from mom and pop shops to large, multi-national conglomerates. I'm not picky. I also own Lobster War Machine, which might be a good example of both design + development work, with a bit of my unique personality spewed about haphazardly in an orderly fashion.
I can design and/or code just about anything from web apps and software to websites and branding materials. I also do a lot of work with my good friend Colin Lewis, and the guys over at PacketTide. Additionally, you can see some of my photography and video around the internets if you'd like.
